Step Up 4 Cardiac Health

Join us on February 27, 2021 at 10AM for the 4th annual Step Up 4 Cardiac Health presented by Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service and Innovative Fitness. Step up your fitness game virtually with Innovative Fitness Coach Kalena and her high-energy, full-body workout where you will learn how to use your own body weight as resistance! Get ready to get your STEPS UP with some step challenges throughout this heart-pumping hour suited for all fitness levels, and all ages. If you have a heart rate wearable device, this is the day you’ll want to wear it. (Recommended towel and water bottle close by, and a mat, or larger towel to lay on).

The great thing about going virtual is you can join from wherever you are, as long as you have an internet connection. It is a great way to bring your household together to get active while supporting cardiac health and the Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

There is also an opportunity to collect additional pledges from friends and family to help us meet our fundraising goals! We are excited to be able to introduce our new individual fundraising pages. This easy to use software will help you keep track of the pledges you raise, allows you to share your page link easily with friends and family, show you who the top fundraiser is and so much more! This year we are raising funds towards the purchase of 8 Telemetry Packs ($4,500 each). A telemetry pack is a portable heart monitor that you wear around your neck or waist or in the pocket of a hospital gown and can be used for an extended period while you’re at home to track heart rhythm problems.

Additional benefits to participating:
· Each participant will receive a swag bag, including the “Gift of Health” from Innovative Fitness – 1 Complimentary Session to each participant for use for IF virtual training or in person at IF Abbotsford, White Rock, Kits or Downtown Vancouver, (other locations TBD!). (a VALUE OF $120 per person)
