Join us as we bring our communities together to celebrate the 33rd annual Parkinson SuperWalk! At Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC), we are inspired every day by the strength and resilience of our community. Together, we are united in our commitment to the advocacy, research, and fundraising efforts that are bringing us closer to a future without Parkinson’s disease. Funds raised through Parkinson SuperWalk help PSBC continue to offer life-changing programs and services.
Parkinson SuperWalk is the single most important provincial and national awareness and fundraising event for Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC). We are very excited to be hosting an in-person SuperWalk again in 2023. We will be encouraging individuals across the province to walk on the weekend of September 9 and 10, while raising money for research and support services through individual pledges and corporate sponsorships. Proceeds from SuperWalk will enable the Society to invest in research and continue to provide essential programs and services to the 15,000 individuals and their families who live with Parkinson’s in BC.

Friday, September 15, 2023 | 5pm-9pm
Saturday, September 16, 2023 | 9am-2pm
Tradex (1190 Cornell St, Abbotsford, BC)
A weekend of delicious foods and family fun – all while helping families in need around the world!
Traditional Mennonite foods, live music & entertainment, kid’s fun zone, handmade quilts, local artisans & exhibits, fair trade rugs, and more!
It begins with food
This year, all Festival proceeds will help people facing food scarcity here in BC and in countries like South Sudan and Ethiopia through MCC Food Projects. Almost 800 million people don’t know when their next meal is coming…and the need for food is increasing. MCC partners are on the ground providing emergency food and long-term food solutions. Let’s share food with more people in need by raising $1 million at the Festival!
If you’d like to share food where it’s needed most, please consider giving a gift on the MCC Festival donations page or at the event. Thank you for showing your love and compassion to families who need hope!
How much does the event cost?
Admission is free! All proceeds from your purchases at the Festival go directly to people in need around the world.
Delicious Mennonite foods and international cuisine are available for purchase. Please buy food tickets at the door or at a participating MCC Thrift Shop (food vendors cannot accept direct payment). Each food ticket booklet contains 10 tickets and costs $10 (1 food ticket = $1).
The Kid’s Fun Zone is $5 per child. Admission includes a climbing wall, LEGO, bouncy castles, and more!

As part of Taste of Abby, we are dedicating a day to take visitors on a guided tour of Abbotsford’s Circle Farm Tour partners. The tour will take 5 hours, highlighting our farm experiences, farm-to-table offerings, and wine experiences. We’ll start our morning at the Abbotsford Farm and Country Market with some shopping! Then we’ll load onto the shuttle bus and head over to our first tour of the EcoFarm Discovery Centre. After that, we’ll break for a yummy picnic lunch from our friends at Nature’s Pickin’s and then make our way over to Campbell’s Gold Honey Farm & Meadery for an educational tour as they share their knowledge and love of bees and the environment. We’ll finish of our day with a wine tasting at the beautiful Seaside Pearl Farmgate Winery.
We ask that participants arrive at the Abbotsford Farm and Country Market by at least 10:45am to check in before the shuttle leaves.
