The annual Songs Strings and Steps Christmas concert is back! After a two-year hiatus, one of Abbotsford’s most popular cultural events is back on December 20th and 21st at Central Heights Church. This traditional holiday show has run every year since 2005, until 2020 when the pandemic forced the cancellation of all live events. The Abbotsford Youth Orchestra led by Calvin Dyck will be augmented with professional musicians to create a symphonic presentation of familiar Christmas carols. Joining the 50-piece orchestra will be a quartet of singers led by celebrated soprano, Alison Nystrom, and a trio of Irish dancers.
