Go Tell It in the Valley!

Join Universal Gospel Choir, one of Vancouver’s most enduring cultural treasures, for “GO TELL IT… IN THE VALLEY”, a high-calibre, high-energy choral concert celebrating the holiday season.

Led by Artistic Director, Lonnie Delisle and accompanied by a stellar 5-piece band, including grammy-nominated Jonny Tobin on piano, the 70 voice choir will raise the rafters at the Abbotsford Arts Centre on December 18th. The 60 voice choir will also be joined by Abbotsford’s own, MEI Screaming Eagles Marching Band.

Universal Gospel Choir’s annual Yuletide concerts have been a tradition for families throughout the Lower Mainland for over 40 years. This year’s concert features a joyful selection of seasonal favourites (Go Tell it on the Mountain, Joy to the World, Ave Maria), world music (Makobongwe u Jehova), gospel barn-burners (Rise Up), and inspirational pop anthems (Freedom, Raise You Up).
