Culture Days: Graphic Novel Workshop

Join the City of Abbotsford in celebrating Culture Days, 2023! Experience local arts, culture and heritage through fun, engaging, and thoughtful participatory activities and events held in the community.

Alton Beach-Bradshaw leads an introduction to the basics of comic/graphic novel making, including panel layout, speech bubbles, composition, character silhouette, and character simplification .

The workshop will include both lessons and drawing exercises, Materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their sketchbooks and drawings to share!
