As heavy rain drenches the city, little ones (and big ones!) may start to feel a bit of cabin fever. Fortunately, Abbotsford has no shortage of fun and fascinating things to do indoors for kids and parents alike! And with the Family Day holiday quickly approaching, what better time to check out some of our top picks for inside fun, and even a few special events happening for the long weekend.

EcoDairy
Bring the farm inside! Explore the science behind farming in the state-of-the-art Discovery Centre and dairy barn. Watch the robot milker in action and learn all about where dairy products come from with the help of a knowledgeable tour guide. Upcoming Events: Ag Week at Ecodairy – Celebrate Canadian agriculture the week of February 11-16!
Guided tours will visit the dairy barn and meet the EcoDairy cows, view the robot milker, see how wheat grass is grown hydroponically indoors, visit the petting zoo animals, explore the Discovery Zone and watch the moo-vie.

Boardwalk Café and Games
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing indoor afternoon or some friendly competition, stop by Boardwalk Café and Games in Historic Downtown Abbotsford. With over 400 different board games ranging from easy party games to advanced strategic games there is something for everyone. Project Climbing Centre
Get ready to climb to new heights of fun! If your kids are looking for something they haven’t tried before Project Climbing Centre is a great place to check out. They cater to everyone from beginners to advanced climbers and even offer a kid’s climbing club and a competitive climbing team. Castle Fun Park
Abbotsford’s original indoor fun zone is still as good as you remember it! Stop by this family favorite for mini golf, go karts, batting cages, laser maze, and of course, tons of arcade games. The Reach Gallery Museum
Immerse your children in culture at The Reach! This event runs from 12pm-5pm.
