Halloween Happenings in Abbotsford

Halloween is right around the corner and Abbotsford is full of fun festivities to help you celebrate the occasion! From trick or treating to scary corn mazes, there is a little something for everyone to enjoy this spooky season. Read on to learn more about these ghoulish events happening throughout Abbotsford this spooky season!

MOO or BOO at Ecodairy

When: Saturday, October 28th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Where: EcoFarm, 1356 Sumas Way

What: A family friendly Halloween celebration with everything from farm tours, to costume contests, to treats, and more! Get your tickets here.

Halloween Party at Clayburn Village

When: October 28th at 5pm

Where: Clayburn Village Church, 4304 Wright Street

What: “Your soul is being summoned to see the fortune teller. Learn your fate as you enter in costume at the cackle of 5pm. As the restless spirits near, feast on pizza with us if you dare. There will be pumpkins to carve, to light the path to your destiny. Treats will be in the future of all creatures of the night.”

Halloween at Cannon Winery

When: October 28th from 12pm-8pm

Where: Cannon Estate Winery, 30523 Burgess Avenue

What: Celebrate Halloween with us at Cannon Estate Winery! Challenge your friends to a pumpkin carving contest, hunt for candy in the vineyard, enjoy a specialized menu by our Executive Chef and don’t forget to wear those costumes. You won’t regret it. 

Wall of Lanterns

When: October 28th from 10am-7pm

Where: Highstreet Shopping Centre, 3122 Mount Lehman Road

What: Join us at Highstreet on Saturday, October 28th, from 10 am – 7 pm, for a fun-filled day of pumpkin carving. The carved pumpkins will form a wall of lanterns. See your pumpkin all lit up during the lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Details can be found here.

Trick r’ Treat at Taves Farm

When: October 28th + 29th from 11am-6pm

Where: Taves Family Farm, 333 Gladwin Road

What: Get captivated at Gary Savard magical shows (10:45 am, 12 pm & 1:30 pm), visit the Magical Garden, Farmville, Petting barn, 3 corn mazes and more, add on a “trick r treat” bag for your kids or dogs to collect snacks/prizes around the farm! Get your tickets here.

Trick or Treating in Downtown Abbotsford

When: October 31st from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Where: Downtown Abbotsford, Unit – A, 33765 Essendene Avenue

What: Come and see what tricks and treats await you downtown on Halloween! This is a family friendly event where there will be free candy, a photo booth, and more!

Trick or Treating at Highstreet

When: October 31st from 3pm-6pm

Where: Highstreet Shopping Centre, 3122 Mount Lehman Road

What: Come join the Halloween festivities at Highstreet Shopping Centre! On October 31st, children aged 12 and under are welcome to visit each participating store at Highstreet between 3 pm to 6 pm, or until the candy runs out.

You’ll easily spot the participating stores as they will have a ‘Witch’ sticker on their window.

Maan Farms Haunted Maze

When: until October 31st

Where: Maan Farms Market and Estate Winery, 790 McKenzie Road

What: This is your last weekend to visit Canada’s scariest corn maze at Maan Farms. With three different haunted experiences, this is the ultimate night of scary fun. Book your tickets here! Not a fan of the spooky stuff? Maan Farms has tons of other family friendly fun to enjoy such as a pumpkin patch and pumpkin ice cream!
