Golfing in Abbotsford
September 10, 2018
Abbotsford is home to two world-class golf courses, Ledgeview and Fraser Glen, as well as a smaller 9-hole course, Valley Golf Centre.
As the days get longer and the skies get clearer many head to the course to improve their golf swing, which may have gotten rusty over the winter months. Our courses are open year round and offer something for golfers of all skill levels!
Ledgeview is easily one of the Fraser Valley’s most popular golf courses, with stunning views overlooking the Valley as well as brand new clubhouse facilities. Ledgeview is a fun yet challenging course that is favorable with both recreational and competitive golfers. Hold your charity golf tournament here or simply take in their men’s, women’s or junior nights. Home to PGA Tour players Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin, Ledgeview is a great place to take your game to the next level!
Located conveniently just off of Highway 1 at the Whatcom exit, this easily walkable course is great for all ages and skill levels. They offer lots of options for group or individual golf lessons in their training facilities. The Glen Bar & Grill has recently been updated and features great food and drink specials as well as space to host private functions! A wide array of men’s and women’s merchandise in their pro shop makes the Fraser Glen a complete golf destination in Abbotsford.
Looking for a fun and fast round? Head to Valley Golf Center on Gladwin Road for a quick but challenging 9 holes! Valley Golf Centre also boasts a large driving range with 13 fully covered, heated and lit stalls as well as 27 outdoor stalls. For even more practice you can make use of their putting green and lessons!
