About Us

From the carefully nurtured agricultural lands in the valley to rugged mountain peaks, Abbotsford is a place where untamed wilderness meets carefully crafted experiences. With a connection to the land that goes back to the longstanding relationships that the Stó:lō People have with this territory, we gratefully acknowledge the Semá:th and Máthekwi First Nations who are the original caretakers of this unceded land.

Abbotsford thrives on celebration through a wealth of signature events, the vibrant arts & culture scene, restaurants that lean into the agritourism experiences, and becoming part of a growing beer and wine region. This is the essence of Handmade and Homegrown, where hands may be immersed in soil or paint, cupped around a locally roasted coffee, or raised in cheers.

In 2024, Tourism Abbotsford collaborated with Ovila Mailhot (Ovi), a talented self-taught artist with roots in the Nlaka’pamux and Sto:lo Nations, to design a unique wordmark to be used to highlight Indigenous businesses, products and stories.

Tourism Abbotsford Team

Clare Seeley

Executive Director

Hi! I’m Clare, the Executive Director and a passionate advocate for moving our industry forward. I oversee our daily operations, develop tactical plans, champion the industry, and help blend business strategy with marketing to ensure we’re delivering the greatest value to our partners.

When I’m not at work, you’ll likely find me hiking local trails, attending community events, or visiting the animals at our many local farms; all great reminders that tourism has a way of bringing people together and often inspiring learning in the most unexpected ways.

If you have ideas you want to explore or issues you’d like to dig into, I’m always happy to connect.

Connie Hackett

Destination Marketing Manager

Hi! I’m Connie, your friendly neighbourhood Destination Marketing Manager. I coordinate the Abbotsford Circle Farm Tour program, the Marketing Growth Grant, and (of course) jump in wherever marketing and social media support is needed.

Connect with me about marketing support, social content, partnerships, or anything that celebrates our incredible local makers, growers, and experiences.

I love meeting new partners (and their furry friends), discovering hidden local gems, creating fun videos, and diving into new adventures around the Valley. I’m here to help with anything marketing, content, or collaboration related.

Audrey Arcigal

Brand Specialist

Hi, I’m Audrey! I’m the Brand Specialist at Tourism Abbotsford, which means I get to bring our community to life through visual storytelling, graphic design, creative campaigns, email marketing, our website, and even retail projects. I work closely with our internal team to take ideas, projects, and event details and turn them into engaging visuals, content, and materials that really highlight what makes Abbotsford special.

When I’m not behind my screen, you’ll usually find me reading a good book, exploring local breweries, wineries, and cideries, or going for long walks around the city. I love creating a visual guide to our community, almost as much as I love discovering the hidden gems that make Abbotsford unique.

Jen Graham

Events & Ambassador Manager

Hi! I’m Jen Graham, Tourism Abbotsford’s Events & Ambassador Manager. I help make fun things happen in our community and ensure visitors feel welcome — ideally while fitting in some goat visits, bird watching, or great local coffee.

You can connect with me about Tourism Abbotsford events (Canada Day, Taste of Abby & more), Ambassador programs and SuperHost training, visitor experience support, and community partnerships.

When I’m not planning events, you’ll find me at Mill Lake or Willband Park bird watching, visiting a farm, or hanging out at a local café. Big ideas or small questions — I’m always happy to chat.
