A Day of Eats In Abby

August 4, 2022

If you’re looking for a day filled with savory eats and treats, this blog is perfect for you! Exploring several local eateries, a group of summer students here at Tourism Abbotsford have compiled a list of their favorites to complete a day full of local eats here in Abbotsford!

Ann Marie’s Cafe

Our first stop of the day is at Ann Marie’s Cafe, a 50s style diner that is open for both breakfast and lunch, and for dine-in and takeout! With delicious  combinations of eggs, potatoes and toast, along with their killer milkshakes, they truly do stick to their slogan of excellent quality and delicious food! We encourage you to stop in for a meal or a delicious milkshake and visit the friendly staff!

To get some energy for the day ahead of us, we stopped by The Polly Fox for a quick coffee and bite before we continued our tour.

Located in the heart of Abbotsford, this coffee shop and bakery is entirely gluten friendly, (with some vegan friendly options as well) and offers a cozy, homey feel with locally roasted coffee, and an amazing, mouth watering pick of baked goods!

Opened in early 2020, Chef Boss has quickly become one of our go to lunch spots. You cannot go wrong with a single sandwich or side here, but our personal favorite combo is THE B.L.A.S.T paired with a bowl of tomato cream soup. Come in and try for yourself, and we promise you won't regret it!

As the weather continues to grow warmer, this bubble tea from 2 Scoops proves to be a fan favorite for multiple different occasions. Coming back after a long drive? Looking for something to cool you off, or just wanting a small snack? This is the perfect place for all of those situations. 2 Scoops carries a wide variation of bubble tea and different combinations, and you can stay in for a while to also try some of their gelato or Bingsu!

For our dinner today, Restaurant 62 offers some of the best dishes with fresh ingredients paired with a fine dining experience alongside locally sourced farm products! Restaurant 62 thrives in bringing the farm to the table, and the The Maple Hill Farm Chicken Breast we had today was a melt in your mouth experience! Although tempted to stay and get dessert, there was one last stop for just that.

What kind of food blog would this be without  ice cream for dessert? In addition to their delicious and unique flavors that include some vegan friendly options, Common Good has milkshakes, and baked goods as well! Hot or cold out, you can never go wrong with a scoop of ice cream from here! Our favorite flavor is the Smoking Gun Coffee, which is made from a locally sourced coffee shop!
