From pumpkin patches to beautiful fall colours and outdoor adventures, this charming city offers plenty of ways to embrace the beauty and spirit of autumn. Maan Farms Haunts offers three different eerie experiences to choose from. “Agatha’s Witching Hour” which is a haunted experience where guests are immersed in unspeakable horrors and spine-chilling scares as they attempt to escape Agatha’s dark magic alive, and solve the mystery of Esme the good witch. The “Homestead” experience is described as an immersive, limited-entry, full-contact experience. Visitors can also test their psychological limits in “The Way Down”. The multisensory hellscape requires guests to wear fabric hoods and follow a rope through a realm of hidden horrors. Tickets are available now so you’re going to want to get your claws on them while you can!

Prepare to spend a good amount of time at Taves Farms as there is no shortage of things to do once you’re there! Say hello to all the farm-animal friends at the petting barn, take a walk through the magical pumpkin garden, play around in Farmville, go apple picking in the orchards and, of course, check out Cinderella’s carriage in the pumpkin patch! On weekends, you can even try your hand at the pumpkin and corn cannons, enjoy food from their concession and also go on a hayride around the farm.

A great way to cozy up this fall is by trying out the latest brews from our many local craft breweries! Did you know that aside from being the spookiest month of the year, October is also BC Craft Beer Month? Check out the list below to see what breweries we have here in town. And once you’re done visiting them all for yourself, vote for Abbotsford as your favourite BC Beer Community in the BC Ale Trail’s province-wide competition invites public to crown BC’s top beer community!

As the leaves continue to turn from green to red, orange and yellow here in the Fraser Valley, Abbotsford is a great place to enjoy the autumn colours.
