On average, the economic impact from hosting 270 plus events, per year, generates approximately $55 million. Sips and Swings for Dad this Father’s Day – 6/9/2020

(Abbotsford, BC) Tourism Abbotsford and the Fraser Valley Trade and Exhibition Centre (Tradex) have launched another ‘Handmade & Homegrown’ gift bag sale to help support local business, but this time it’s for Father’s Day.

The gift bags feature products from several local businesses and can be purchased online, with curbside pick-up service on Thursday, June 18th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday, June 19th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Due to Covid-19 protocol, pick-up will be organized with social distancing measures in place. Items must be ordered by Thursday, June 18th at 5:00 pm.

(Abbotsford, BC) A million twinkling lights, illuminated structures, interactive features and playgrounds, live music, a Christmas market showcasing local artisans, and the arrival of Santa Clause are being added to Abbotsford’s Christmas agenda this December. GLOW–the world’s largest indoor Christmas festival– will be arriving at the Fraser Valley Trade and Exhibition Centre (Tradex) on December 5th, 2019 and leaving on January 4, 2020.
